Stone can occur in any part of our body, but if it is in the kidney then the result can be extreme pain. Yes! • Ureteroscopy: This process is used to treat the stones in the kidney and the ureter. Under this process, the doctor inserts a thin flexible instrument via urethra to the bladder, in order to detect the stones. • Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy: In cases where the kidney stone is very large in size and lithotripsy cannot be used to treat it, nephrolithotomy is used.
